Requirements
Ability to independently design experimental processes after being given a research direction;
Hold or expect to hold a Ph.D. degree by the start date; aged under 35; During the doctoral program or in the past two years, applicant has published one or more papers as the first author in the following related fields, international journals are preferred;
Applicants should meet at least one of the following directions, with preference given to those with multiple qualifications:
a. (Virology)A research background in virology, cell biology, immunology, biochemistry and molecular biology, or other related disciplines. Applicants should have solid knowledge of viral and cell biology, with adequate knowledge of immunology. Experience inin vivopathogen research is required. Qualification of P2 or above is preferred.
b. (Structural Biology)A research background in structural biology, biophysics and other related disciplines. Applicants should have the ability to independently analyze given proteins or protein complexes (from recombinant plasmid design to data analysis and structure reconstruction). Cryo-electron microscope background is preferred (crystallographic background is also preferred). Independent operation of an electron microscope (or equivalent) is preferred.
c. (Method development)Research background in engineering, applied physics (mechanics or optics related), bioengineering and other related disciplines. Solid skills in the use of CAD or other related software are required. Experience with industrial-grade 3D printing is preferred.
Programming skills are preferred;
Superb written and oral skills in Chinese and English;
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Funding
Postdocs receive a living allowance and research funding from the Hangzhou municipal government.
Recipients of funding from the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation or the Zhejiang Province Selected Funding for Postdoctoral Research Projects are entitled to supplementary funding of the same amount from the Hangzhou municipal government.
Postdocs who work full-time in Hangzhou after completing their postdoctoral research qualify for an allowance of 400,000 RMB from the Hangzhou municipal government.
Eligible new university graduates holding a doctoral degree or equivalent who work full time in Hangzhou (including those who studied abroad and returned to China within 5 years of graduation as well as foreign talent) can apply to the Hangzhou municipal government for a living allowance of 100,000 RMB.
Postdocs recognized as high-level talent in Hangzhou enjoy corresponding preferential policies
